Read this before you open Day One
Before you open Day One, read this.
It’s about what happens on Day Seven, when you’re alone.
Your order is confirmed and the full program is being released to your email right now. Stay here a moment — what I’m about to tell you wasn’t in the presentation, and it’s for very few people.
First: you did the right thing. Not because I’m saying so, but because your guardian just watched you do something it had filed as a risk — and nothing happened. It made a note. That’s the first line of a pattern it will take twelve days to believe.
And I want you to know what’s coming, because knowing changes the experience.
Over the next twelve days you’ll cross a year. In The Thaw you’ll put down the identity of “someone who needs protecting.” In The Light you’ll have the window moment — usually between day five and six, usually alone, usually for no reason at all. And in The Harvest you’ll give your guardian a future instead of a past. Fifteen minutes a day. One day at a time. You’ll manage it, because the calendar was built to fit the life of someone sitting on the sofa at ten at night.
Now, the part I need to tell you
When I designed the calendar, I designed it for a person alone. That was deliberate. I know a lot of people who feel what you feel don’t have — or don’t want, or can’t afford — someone in the room. So every exercise was built to give the guardian evidence without needing anybody.
But I have to be honest about something I learned in practice, and that sits everywhere in the psychology of protection: the strongest evidence a guardian can receive comes from another human being who poses no threat at all.
That’s why I built Bonus 3, the presence with your children. Because someone who loves you and doesn’t threaten you is the most convincing proof there is. And people who have that at home come out of the calendar with a calmer guardian than the ones who go through it alone.
The problem is that not everyone has that at home. And even those who do sometimes can’t use it — because the person who loves you is exactly the one who said “you’re not the same anymore,” and the guardian reads their closeness as judgement, not safety.
I saw it in the first groups. Someone would do Day Five, have the window moment, and on Day Seven write: “I felt something, but I don’t know if it was real, I’ve got nobody to check with, and my guardian is telling me I made it up.”
With nobody in the room, evidence turns into doubt. And doubt is the guardian’s favourite tool.
I couldn’t put a therapist next to every person. That would be the door many people can’t access, and the calendar exists precisely to be the third door.
But I had something almost nobody has: a network of people my team has trained over decades, in more than fifty countries, trained in exactly how to be in a room with someone without being a threat. They aren’t therapists delivering therapy. They’re presence facilitators. And I asked them if they’d do something that had never been done.
They said yes.
It’s called The Open House
Every week, one live room, with a facilitator trained by the institute and a small group of people going through the same calendar you are. Fifty minutes. Nobody has to speak. Nobody asks “so how are you feeling?” The facilitator leads a presence practice — the same language as The Light — and what happens is simple: your guardian spends fifty minutes in a room with people who pose no danger whatsoever, and it registers that.
At the end, whoever wants to says one small thing that came back that week. Whoever doesn’t, just listens. Listening is evidence too.
Along with the room:
The Weekly Window
The recording of that week’s practice, so you can do it alone on the other days.
The Facilitator’s Note
A short message from the facilitator after each meeting, about what she saw the group’s guardian doing that week. You start recognising your own through other people’s.
Somewhere to check
When your guardian says “you made that up,” you have somewhere to ask. Someone who knows the answer.

No, I just want Get Your Child’s Brain BackWhy weekly, and why month to month
Because a guardian doesn’t trust an event. One good room is one good day — it has seen good days before. It trusts frequency. One room a week, every week, is the only format in which the presence of other humans stops being an exception and becomes a pattern for your protection system. Same reason as the calendar: repetition across a cycle.
And month to month, cancel whenever you want, because a guardian that feels trapped in a room closes the door. You stay while the room is serving your brain. One click and you’re out.
About the price, I want to be direct
Fifty minutes with a licensed professional costs between $150 and $200 — once. The Open House is four rooms a month, with a facilitator trained by the institute, plus the recording, the note and somewhere to check, for $29 a month. That’s only possible because it’s a group, because it’s facilitation and not therapy, and because the facilitators believe in what they’re doing.
And here’s the limit, which is real and not a tactic
Each room holds a small number of people, and each facilitator runs a few rooms a week. I’m opening The Open House to people joining the calendar during this launch, and when this group’s rooms fill, the link below this page disappears. This isn’t “limited spots” on a sales page. It’s that there is no chair.
Guarantee
The first month carries 60 days. If after the first room you feel other people’s presence did nothing for your guardian, you write and I return the month. No form.
Here’s how I think about it
You have twelve days of evidence ahead of you. Alone, the calendar works. With someone safe in the room, it works deeper and the guardian doubts less. You can do the twelve days with nobody and check the window against yourself — plenty of people do. Or you can have, every week, a room where your guardian spends fifty minutes learning that people are safe too.

No, I just want Get Your Child’s Brain BackAnd one last thing.
Day Seven will come. You’ll have had the window moment, and you’ll be alone on the sofa with one question: was that real, or did I make it up? The guardian always answers first. And if there’s nobody in the room to say “it was real, I’ve seen it happen to everyone here,” its answer becomes the truth.
I’ll see you on Day One — and in the first room.
